An understated inside-the-waistband holster

For IWB carry, the holster body sits inside the trouser waistband. This allows the Röhm RG88 to be carried close to the body beneath a suitable top. The black finish pairs with different belts and has an understated appearance. Trousers and belt should provide enough room for comfortable wear. How discreet the combination actually is also depends on body shape, clothing and individual fit.

A useful combination of belt clip and leather loop

The clip is designed for belts up to 5 cm wide and secures the holster for inside-the-waistband carry. On the opposite side, a firmly sewn-in leather loop takes the belt for external carry. This gives the same holster two attachment options. The loop offers an additional OWB option, meaning carry outside the waistband. Whether clothing covers the holster in that position depends on the top being worn.

Cowhide with a substantial feel

The approximately 3.2 mm thick cowhide gives the holster a substantial material base and a natural feel. Pre-shaping establishes the basic contour rather than leaving the shape to develop entirely through use. With wear, the leather may break in slightly and develop its own surface character. Small variations in the grain are part of a natural material. The leather provides an additional layer between pistol and clothing, but it is not a waterproof barrier.

The design has no additional fastening strap. The pistol is held by the fit rather than locked in place by a separate mechanism. Check the fit from the outset

If the fit is clearly unsuitable, contact the supplier rather than permanently altering the pre-shaped pocket.

Storage without unnecessary pressure

A dry, well-ventilated place helps keep the holster in good condition between uses. Store it so that the leather body is not compressed and no sharp-edged objects rest on its surface. Check the clip, loop and stitching occasionally. Damaged attachments or a noticeable change in fit should be assessed before further use.

Caring for the holster

Remove dust with a soft, dry cloth. If necessary, slightly dampen the cloth without soaking the leather. Use a care product suitable for structured leather holsters sparingly and according to its manufacturer's instructions; test it on an inconspicuous area first. Excessive greasing or strongly softening products can reduce firmness. After exposure to moisture, let the holster dry at room temperature with the pistol removed. Radiators, hairdryers and intense sunlight are unsuitable for drying. This keeps care focused on preserving both the surface and the fit.
