Carrying System & Comfort

The core of the system is the strap system (spider) optimized for all-day use. Wide, flexible leather straps distribute the weight evenly and prevent pressure points or neck pain, even after many hours. The vertical orientation allows the pistol to lie flat against the upper body and excels when sitting (e.g., in a vehicle), where belt holsters often interfere. The length can be precisely adjusted to the body using Chicago screws; a single magazine pouch on the opposite side ensures balance and keeps a spare magazine within easy reach.

Optic-Ready & Retention

The generous, precisely crafted optic-ready cutout ensures that common red dot sights – such as Trijicon RMR, Holosun 507c, Leupold DeltaPoint Pro, or Aimpoint Acro – are not touched when drawing/holstering. When worn, the surrounding leather protects the optics from side impacts and scratches. The holster body, made from approximately 3.2 mm thick cowhide, is wet-formed to fit the contours of the CZ P‑10c precisely, ensuring a play-free, quiet fit (passive retention) without rattling.

Holster Adjustment (Fine Tuning with Kettle)

If the holster is initially tight, the fit can be specifically optimized:

• Heat water in a kettle and briefly expose the rising steam to the inside of the holster until the leather becomes slightly moldable (do not soak).
• Wrap the unloaded pistol in a thin plastic bag to protect it from moisture.
• Firmly insert the pistol, draw/holster cleanly several times until the contours fit.
• Allow to cool and dry completely at room temperature with the weapon inserted. This improves retention and draw comfort permanently.
